Exhibition at the European Parliament

The photo exhibition “Cocoon of Life” by the Save Beauty charitable foundation and photographer Eliz Kulakovska has opened at the European Parliament.

For us this is more than international recognition. It is a chance to tell Europe the stories of Ukrainians who lived through the war, severe injuries, dozens of surgeries and a long road to recovery.

Stories of people who prove that even after the hardest trials it is possible to restore not only your appearance, but also your faith in yourself and in the future.

We are sincerely grateful to everyone who made this exhibition possible: the Vice-President of the European Parliament Javi López, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the EU Vsevolod Chentsov, the Mission of Ukraine to the EU, all the services of the European Parliament, our partners, friends and everyone who supported this project.

Special thanks to our doctors, volunteers and the team of the foundation. But most of all — to our survivors. It is your courage, your trust and your willingness to speak about what you went through that became the foundation of this exhibition.

We believe that every such story heard around the world helps not only to better understand the price of the war, but is also a reminder: restoring people matters above all.
